(Muhammed) 47 : 19

Then you know that indeed there is no Deity except Allah, and you seek forgiveness to your own offences as well as for the believing men and believing women; and Allah knows your movements and your abode.

This verse teaches the Messenger and thereby the believers that Allah is the One to whom only one can seek refuge and help, upon whom can entrust, only whom can be afraid, and in front of whom has to reply about the life. It also commands the Messenger and thereby the believers to seek forgiveness only for their own offences and for the offences of believing men and women who approve Allah as the single Deity. Contrary to this, Messenger and believers are not allowed to obey or seek forgiveness for the disbelieving hypocrites mentioned in verses 41: 26-28, or their strayed following disbelievers mentioned in verse 41: 29. Both of these are the Arabic Qur’an reading Fujjar as explained in verses 3: 7-10 whose Ledger is in Sijjeen of the hell as told in verse 83: 7. See explanation 9: 84-85, 113-114; 33: 35; and 37: 34-36.
